We recognize celebrating agriculture means meeting our agriculturists where they are.
Through GenDiscovery programs and roundtable discussions, we will help teenagers explore careers and opportunities in agriculture. The program focus will help students gain experience in animal science and environmental science disciplines through a series of hands-on activities with farm animals: cattle, deer, fish, on-farm processing, and field and laboratory research. This initiative takes us to the heart of agriculture and allows the students to celebrate with a mission. emphasizing the integration of academic instruction and the interconnectivity of agricultural sciences.

We recognize self-awareness, leadership, personal development and self-management are components of emotional intelligence in all industries
GenV will actively host retreats and events designed to promote self-concept, positive health, and overall well-being. The retreats will provide essential information for living and working in an ever changing world by taking a moment to retreat & reset at Double G Ranch. We will introduce individuals and groups to the importance of leadership, and personal development is essential to the skills, attitudes, and habits that will enable them to be good leaders in your industry and life.
The Double G Ranch is home base for GenV programs. Guests learn side-by-side in the field with soil and water testing, pasture walks, and real conversations about wellness, leadership, and life in agriculture.
Meet the herd and see respectful animal care in action. At The Double G, students observe nutrition, behavior, and husbandry from designated viewing areas and learn how healthy animals support healthy land and communities.
Founded by Gwendolyn Lusk, the ranch is a place for stewardship and belonging. We host clinics, retreats, and school programs that build confidence, wellness, and career pathways for the next generation of agriculturists.
Gwendolyn Lusk is the owner of The Double G Ranch and the founder of GenV, a Texas-based nonprofit recognized by the IRS in 2021.
Rooted in land stewardship and hospitality, Gwendolyn opens the ranch as a learning space where students, families, and partners experience agriculture hands-on, pasture walks, respectful animal observation, and real conversations about wellness and leadership.
Her conviction is simple: healthy leaders help sustain healthy land and healthy communities. That calling is urgently needed in agriculture, where long hours, market stress, isolation, and weather risk can strain mental health; Gwen’s programs meet people where they are with practical tools, fellowship, and hope.
